Weather
Fort Bou-Jerif's climate is very specific and it's one of the main reason why it is such an attractive and interesting destination. Located at about 5 miles from the ocean, it's never too hot or too cold.
In Winter the temperature during the day is about 20 to 25°C and 5 to 10°C during the night.
In the Summer, the temperature during the day is about 25 to 33°C and 20 to 25°C during the night. It is never too hot and you can sit comfortably in the shade to eat or have a drink, with always a nice little breeze.
We recommend you always carry a light jacket or sweater, even in the Summer because the night can be cool. But when you go inside the country, it gets hotter, even in Guelmin which is not too far from Bou-Jerif it's always 10 to 15°C hotter.
Also, we can say there's a micro climate in bou-Jerif which is spared from most big rain storms in the region. Don't hesitate to contact us via phone or email to ask us about the weather.
Tides
It is important to take in consideration the tides while driving on "White Beach" because it is safer to go there when the tide is lower or going down. The amplitude is 6 hours between 2 high tides and it is possible to drive 3 hours before and 2 hours after the time of low tide.
Ask the front desk for the tide hours for the current month and the next. Don't hesitate to ask us, you security is important to us!
